The gals sit down with Nancy Stanley, author of Pillow with a Heartbeat:

"Nancy Stanley’s inspiration to write Pillow with a Heartbeat came from a young girl, Michelle Butler, who was battling leukemia.  Nancy was her wish granter with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  The bond Michelle, Nancy, and Truffles had was life changing. Truffles was Michelle’s therapy dog and he brought her much joy while she battled the disease. Michelle passed away in 2009 and to this day, her family still thanks Truffles for all the happiness and love he gave. "
