Richard Fagan is known to many as one of the best songwriters in country music.  Over his time, he's penned 10 top ten singles and 20 songs on the Billboard Country Music Charts for the likes of Neil Diamond, George Strait, Shania Twain, George Jones, Hank Williams Jr., and John Michael Montgomery to name a few.  Born a South Philly boy, and after serving a year in Vietnam, his partnership with Tom Oteri (father of SNL's Cheri Oteri) resulted in great success and heartache with Richard eventually charged with partner Tom's murder. Richard later was acquitted of the charge.
