Ten months after a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake leveled much of Port-au-Prince, killing 250,000 people, hundreds of thousands of Haitians still remain homeless, rubble a logistical impediment in many neighborhoods. Criminal gangs are still ramant preying on the 1,300 camps housing an estimated 1.3 million homeless . Vowing back in February not to forget their Haitian brothers and sisters, Geo & Nakisha return for a third update to measure the rebuilding progress since January 12. They were not happy with the reality their research unearthed. Even as we put this report together, the homeless of Haiti were hunkering down to weather hurricane Tomas.
