The art of exotic dance has been around since the beginning of man. Goddess worship has been believed to go back as far as Cro-Magnon times by some historians. Dancing formed a part of this worship and evidence can be seen for example in pagan rituals such as dancing around the Maypole. The Maypole has been attributed by some, as one of the origins of pole dancing. These shows were known as dance pole tents. Fast forward to circa 2009 to the establishments and women that have refined the art into a business of glitzy, seductive, alluring entertainment. Often relegated to locales off the beaten path "on the other side of town" what was once an art has evolved into a thriving obscure business catering to and patronized by mainly a percentage of the male population. This show will take you behind the scenes of exotic dancing, or as it is more commonly known stripping. We will get a close up look at the women that do it, the men that patronize them, and the business that connect the two. Who are the women? Why did they choose this unconventional line of employment? What's the income like for an exotic dancer? Why over the last decade more women have become patrons than in decades past? Who are the men that support the business? Dancers will give tips on dressing seductively for your man, how to maintain a fit body, the psychology they use to increase and sustain a profitable business as private contractors. You'll never look at world of Exotic dancing under the same light after this show. Come with me Behind the Rump & Pole and look into the intriguing world of exotic dancing.
