It requires patience to listen to others in their time of trouble. Patience is a virtue that seems to be in short supply these days. With a quiet heart, we can put ourselves in the other person's shoes. Jesus exhibited much patience with the apostles during the three years with them. He never gave up on them. They bumbled and stumbled along but Jesus knew one day His patience with them would come to fruition. Shouldn't we be this day with our brother and sister in Christ? Shouldn't we listen to that person who has a different viewpoint without denigrating him/her?
