["On Demand" episode. Pre-recorded.] Christians claim that God is both a Unity and a "Trinity": This makes absolutely no sense to either Muslims or Jews. In fact, inSEEMS to violate a law of logic called "The Law of Non-Contradiction": that a thing cannot be "A" and "non-A" at the same time. So where did the Church get this idea from? Roman Catholic tradition? A biblical corruption in translation that the Qur'an has since corrected? A fanciful New Testament leap of faith that has no basis is Jewish thought? Or can it be found in the Hebrew Scriptures: that part of the Bible that has been sacred to Judaism since Ezra's time. Tune in and take note! Your host: Rev. Rick Anderson on "Jewish Roots", each Thursday at 9:30 pm EDT.
