Yesterday, over 700 of the adamantly non-violent 99%ers occupying Liberty Plaza on Wall Street were led onto New York's Brooklyn Bridge by the police, trapped in a pincer maneuver, arrested and hauled to jail.

"Kettled" a word used recently by participants, many students, in England to describe this dirty tactic by the police is now part of the American language.

Indeed from an economic perspective many tens of millions are being "kettled" by stingy bankers sitting on over $2 trillion, refusing to "stimulate" the U. S. economy while reaping record salaries.
