Stacey MacGlashan never dreamed of growing up to be a single mom, but becoming one taught her that reality can surpass childhood dreams. Just You and Me, Kid is her poignant and personal memoir of the journey from choosing single motherhood to celebrating her child. Stacey MacGlashan, author of Just You and Me, Kid, is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in therapy with struggling teens and their families. She earned her BA in English literature and communications from the University of Michigan and a MA in journalism from the University of Maryland before pursuing a career as a newspaper reporter and editor for such publications as The New Orleans Times-Picayune. She then earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver and began her current career. She has 40 years of experience being single and nearly two years of experience being a mom. Her website is www.justyouandmekidbook.com
