So, for this San Francisco 49ers fan, last Sunday was a bit painful at the end of the game.  Then, when the last play was made we were treated to Richard Sherman's talking.  Or rather, Richard Sherman's screaming.  Since then, we have been treated to everyone's commentary on the racist criticism of Sherman.  And of course, we have been treated to Sherman's own critique of how thug is now the new, more appropriate, "n-word".  Also along the way, we had Justin Bieber being a too young, too successful, too prone to bad judgment individual who decided to smoke weed, drink alcohol, and drag race a rented Lamborghini.  To which, our hard news media decided that updates on the bond hearing of Bieber was the most vital news of the moment.  On today's show, I'm going to try to explain how both of these things are troubling markers for where we are as people and where we are as a country.
