A Conversation with US Congressional Candidate Richard Gates

Fair Tax supporter, and former Iowa State Director Richard Gates is running for the U.S. Congress.  During recent months Richard and other former Fair Tax Supporters have decided to seek public office.  Fair Tax Grassroots aplauds the efforts of Richard Gates and others from the volunteer ranks. Many of these candidates are making their first run for public office and have very limited financial support.  Fair Tax does not endorse candidates, and for that reason Richard and others have had to resign their Fair Tax Positions.  We are pleased to have Richard Gates as our guest and look forward to his comments on Fair Tax and seeking public office.  Joining Richard will be Laura O'Halloran also a candidate for office and a Fair Tax Supporter.

Changing our current federal taxation system and implementing an energy change are two items that can play a significant role in energizing our economy.   During the last 30 minutes of the program we will hear from Pickens Plan State Leaders, Mike Johnston, PA, Pamenal Barnes, AZ, and Sam Fleet (unconfirmed) GA. They will talk  about Natural Gas as a game changer that could help to get us off our billion dollar a day dependence for foreign oil.  Sam is also an active Fair Tax Supporter and we expect the other leaders also have opinions about  eliminating Federal Income Tax.
