Hope Deferred Makes the Heart Sick? Heaven Now Or Later? John 14:1-3

Today, We continue the study of heaven as it relates to the words in Matthew 24:30-34. Does the Bible teach that we will be raptured from the earth? Is Matthew 24 the end of the physical world? 

1. Does the Bible teach that we go "up" to heaven or does it "come down" to us? (Rev. 21:2-3)

2. What did Jesus mean when he said I "go to prepare a place" for you, Jn. 14:1-3

3. Do we have to die to experience heaven?

4. If heaven has come down to us, is this all we have to live/look for? Should I be discouraged, disappointed because of my plight? Does my [anyone oppressed] plight prove there is no heaven?

5. What is my responsibility if all things are fulfilled? What should we be doing in a world where God has fulfilled all his prophecies?
