The press recently brought to light the story of a military helicopter being shot down over eastern Afghanistan.  It was carrying thirty U.S. servicemen, all of which were killed.  Fast forward a couple of days, & CNN plays a heart-tugging story about one of those people, Aaron Vaughn.  His widow, Kimberly Vaughn, called her husband "a warrior for Christ".  Well, your gracious host Ernest takes issue with that phrase.

On this episode of The Ernest Experience Radio Show, Ernest challenges the idea of "God and country" when it comes to war, and where God really fits into the U.S.'s war on the people of Iraq and Afghanistan.  What does God really say about war? Is God on the United States's side of things, by default, because it declares itself a Christian nation?  Is God less on the United States's side because more Muslims move here, or more people convert to Islam

Also, we'll learn how the Obama administration is glaringly hypocritical when it comes to LGBT protection, rights, & benefits..& it all happened in the matter of 24-hours. It ain't pretty, but it's real.

All this plus music by Leela James, & Conya Doss, NPR news, Ern's 3-minute commentary "Girl, You Get What You Give", & Afterparty! Stick around for that (it's for the birthday girl)!
