At a New Jersey high school, seven football players, ages 15 to 17, were arrested on a number of charges, including aggravated criminal sexual contact, in connection with alleged attacks against four other players. The school canceled the season. How could something like this happen in 2014? A lot has to do with notions of masculinity in the locker room and homophobia is a part of that. We explore the issue with an openly gay high school basketball coach and two former college football players who were gay on their teams.

Are you able to relate to the comments below from our fellow group members? If so, tune in to our LGBT Real Talk Radio Show as we talk about "Struggling with your Sexuality." You won't want to miss this episode.
I have been struggling with my Sexuality for a while. Pretty much for the past six years or so. I know I should not be ashamed of who I am, but growing up with the parents that I did, it really makes me hate who I am sometimes, and I want to be someone else.
Ever since a was little I've been attracted to both boys and girls. I didn't think anything was wrong with that but as I grew up my friends would ask if im straight. But I don't know if im straight. I've had a sexual experience with one of my close girl friends and I'm more confused then ever. I really like guys and I think their sexy but I also find myself thinking girls are hot too. What am I? Am I straight, lesbian, or bi? I have no clue...
What do you think? Do you have an issue with titles, labels and LGBT terminology? What are the pros and cons? How do they impact us? Would love to here from you!
How do you keep from losing yourself in a relationship? At what point do you take a time-out and work on recovering your inner peace? Can your inner peace be regained, once lost? Who is responsible for your peace?
Be sure to tune in and listen to our show as we talk about Inner Peace and how not to lose yourself in a relationship.

Liz Margolies, LCSW, is the founder and executive director of the National LGBT Cancer Network, Based in NYC, the Network focuses on education, training, advocacy and support.
Did you know that the LGBT population has a higher risk rate for cancer? We are going to talk about healthcare barriers that they face, what can be done to reduce that risk and the training programs that are provided for healthcare providers. Also we will talk about how we can come together as a community and take better care of ourselves by taking steps together for preventative health measures. Yes - literally walking together! We will talk about what it means to be an LGBT cancer survivor and their special needs vs. the needs of the mainstream cancer survivor population.
Many LGBT survivors do not feel welcome or understood in mainstream support groups and transgender survivors have been especially excluded. The National LGBT Cancer Network offers FREE online support forums to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender cancer survivors. We will be covering the customized support programs the network offers which are tailored specifically to our needs.
Liz is also a psychotherapist in private practice, specializing in trauma, loss, health disparities and sexuality. Liz is also a blogger for the Huffington Post and helps curate the LGBT Wellness page on the Gay Voices vertical.
