Description of Show

Introduce Nyla Pipes ~ One Florida Foundation

Nyla Pipes is a Washington State native that moved to Florida 6 years ago.  When the Indian River Lagoon and St. Lucie River turned green with Blue Green Algae in 2013, she stepped forward to work toward a solution.  Nyla is a wife and mother of 2.  Her degree is in Electronic Media, Theater, and Film, and she worked in radio and television in Spokane, Washington.  Growing up on the Columbia River in Washington, Nyla has been a protector of water and natural resources her entire life; it’s just the way children are raised in the Pacific Northwest.

Nyla talks about her foundation and what she sees as an answer for Florida's water crisis
