YOUNG FATHERS AND THEIR CHALLENGES

This broadcast segment of "EMPOWERING MEN" addresses the challenges that young fathers face as they experience fatherhood at any early age.  Today's guests are young fathers between the age of 14 and 24 who will speak to their individual and colllective experiences learning the responsibility of fatherhood.  

Many young men become fathers before they're emotionally and financially prepared.  These young men do not embrace the joy and responsibility of fatherhood and consequently abandon their children and their mothers placing a major burden on their families and society.  This important broadcast will address the challenges and solutions available to these young fathers so that they might become great dads and raise emotionally healthy children.

The host of "EMPOWERING MEN" is Minister Thomas Ryer, Executive Director / Public Advocacy for the Men's Empowerment Network.  Minister Thomas Ryer is a nationally sought after speaker on topics addressing men's development and their impactful role in society.
