Dr. Kevin Passero and his special guest, ethnobotanist Chris Kilham, will be debunking myths and popular hype about various herbs and other botanicals touted to protect, treat and even cure disease — such as green coffee beans for weight loss and cranberries for urinary tract issues.

Chris Kilham is a medicine hunter, author and educator and has conducted medicinal field research in over 30 countries. He works with companies to develop and popularize traditional plant-based food and medicinal products including kava, maca, rhodiola, schisandra, tamanu oil, herbal beverages and dozens of other plants.

Chris teaches "The Shaman’s Pharmacy" at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a popular ethnobotany course that takes students to the Peruvian Amazon to learn about medicinal plants. He is also FOX News’ Medicine Hunter and a regular expert on The Dr. Oz Show, and has been featured in leading news journals.
