The first of its kind, this groundbreaking guide is helping many hospices, hospitals and other health care professionals and organizations in outreach efforts to African American patients and their families.

She has been featured on various television/radio shows, including NPR affiliate, KCUR, the Hospice Foundation of America’s Diversity and End of Life national telecast and her work was also featured in several issues of Minority Nurse Magazine. Gloria’s professional presentations to such groups as Children’s Mercy Hospital, the National Association of Social Workers, Kansas University Medical Center, and Hospice of the Valley attest to her commitment to help make a positive difference in our world.
