Locally, Asheville faces a threat to local access television station, URTV. Eartheart Network's IAM Campaign is focusing locally on a community conversation leading up to building attendance for the April 5 Buncombe County Commissioner meeting where URTV is on the agenda. We want to hear from you and raise awareness of the issues concerning URTV and local access media in general. Recent changes in governments have been facilitated by people's access to internet and multimedia. People's power is directly linked to their ability to connect with others and contribute locally and globally.
