We are told to use our sheild of FAITH to quench ALL the fiery darts of the wicked. Discouragement is a favorite weapon of our adversary, the devil to keep us from obtaining God's promises. He targets our emotions when we become weary in battle.
The Scriptures tell us to HOLD FAST our profession of faith without wavering! Why? because the One who promised is Faithful to deliver on His promises to us. There is no failure in our God.
