"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us." 2 Corinthians 1:4 (NLT)

By now, we have all heard about the tragic elementary school shooting that occurred in Newtown, Connecticut on Friday, December 14th. Here at GGAL, our hearts and prayers are with all those who are grieving over the loss of the precious lives of their loved ones.

When senseless tragedies like this keep happening there is an almost tangible sense of gloom and foreboding that seems to hover for months. This is especially true when such heartbreaking events happen during a season that suppose to embody the principles of love, joy, and peace.

If you need help getting through the grief and pain of this event, or you need advice on how to console and comfort your children, please join us on the chat. We are here to help in any way that we can. Pastor Robert G. Johnson of New World Church, Houston, TX is here with us also to offer spiritual insight and perspective as well.
