Hospice has been caring for people with life limiting illnesses for many years. We are going to hear about that today from iheartolderpeople founder Andrea Uliano.

Hospice allows people to be with their loved ones in comfortable surroundings as life comes to a close. Dr. Diane Dike's mother received hospice care in her final stages of Multiple Myeloma cancer in Feb. 2010. Unfortunately, her best friend Jan Lack was also in Hospice care for Huntington's disease at the same time. Jan died two days after Diane's mother.

During National Hospice month, SCwSG is raising awareness of the many benefits of hospice care. Anyone can contact hospice. To learn if hospice is right for you or your loved one find a local agency near you or call for a personal and confidential consultation with Andrea Uliano, (970) 471-9312.

Good quality of life at the end of life is not an elusive concept.
