The Solace Teachings are an excellent tool for healthcare organizations, community groups and anyone wanting to deepen their understanding of death and dying.

Round-Table Discussion -- The Role of Hospice in Life & Loss
Join us on March 25th at 7PM as we discuss the sensitive topics of death and loss. Though not easily talked about, they are events that all of us must eventually face. Children experience all the same emotions as adults; yet they may lack the vocabulary to put it into words. Helping children and adults adequately express their feelings is vital to finding comfort and hope when a loved one dies.
Guests for our round-table discussion will include Krista Schueler (Account Executive) and Jennifer Gilbert (Social Worker) from Emerald Hospice & Gentiva Healthcare. Topics will range from the facts and myths surrounding hospice care to the role of hospice with patients and families, and how to help the caregiver. Bereavement support groups will also be discussed, with special emphasis on resources to help children cope before, during and after losing a loved one.
We welcome listeners to call in with comments and questions during the episode. Explore additional resources at:
