It's Black History Month and Down South and Dirty want to celebate it in classic Down South and Dirty fashion. We don't want to talk about black inventors and civil righs and slavery in the ways most common to most of us. We want to dig into some really little talked about or studied parts of our history this month. A couple of shows ago we talked a about Repartations you can listen to that show here ------> http://www.blogtalkradio.com/downsouthanddirty/2016/01/24/40-acres-and-a-mule-then-what That started us down a whole other trail and after some reading and study parts of that discussion and others that are so pressing today can be traced back to this period in time. So we are going in! There are so many issues that have their roots here in this era truly we could do a mini series on this and that might happen one day. The question of the black man and woman in America hasn't been fully answered so we are going back and having a very important discussion on this topic. So Join us as we talk about the  Reconstruction Era Then and Now on Down South and Dirty as we Celebrate Black History Month. Yeah we still gonna talk about Bernie in our Bern Treatment and you know we gonna tie it all together with the topic too....so join us and call in 657 383 0995! It Down South and Dirty Baby!
