Leadership is sometimes considered to be a vague concept, hard to pin down and difficult to embrace.  In fact it is often mistaken for the exact opposite of what it is, and the small business owner often believes, that to be a great leader they must make every decision. This is clearly not so. 

 

In fact, effective leadership is a skill which can be learned. There are of course many 'natural leaders'; however, the following principles can be followed by any small business owner, and applying them will result in more effective leadership.
