The Black Community: Death, Trauma and Next Steps.

In response to the Alton Sterling and Philando Castile murders the Black community took to the streets in protest. Social media erupted into a barrage of comments, opinions and 'call-to-action' posts. But, what next? What is the plan? What are the strategies for change? Are we walking in circles or going forward? Furthermore, how is the trauma of all this impacting our pshyche. 

Councilman Jawane Hilton, Dr. John Hamilton and mental health professional Tasha Stiger are going to join me in dialogue. We will discuss the current climate of the Black community and what should be done to create sustainable change.
