The Don S. McClure Show Live  "A conversation about being intentional about being a good person."

I wonder how individuals view the term a good person, a good friend, loving family member, or loyal associate and how one arrives at the point of origin in their mind when it comes to images of self. Discussions will vary, and the reasoning will almost always vary depending on what basis was taken into account when the statement was made. I decided after hearing the viewpoint of a friend and dig a little deeper to see how I would explain that task of being intentional about being a good person. I  share their words, as I share my views on being intentional. Many times, my show topics are developed from conversations I have with friends and associates as a basis for a better understanding. 70% of the time, people think alike and have the same values but approach their life slightly different from someone else. I believe that environment and experiences can shape the outcome of thoughts. So let's take a look at,
" BEING INTENTIONAL ABOUT BEING A GOOD PERSON."

Hey Don, so here's what you asked about in our conversation from my point of view. Being intentional about being a good person. The word good is subjective, so is being good. For me, I measure being a good person by what I want to see coming. What I mean by this is who and what do I welcome into my space. Is it angry, mean petty judging, selfishness, or complaining coming toward me or something else? So when I say I'm intentional about being a good person, I consider what that looks like to me. Life qualities of love, peace, joy, righteousness, compassion, empathy, and sacrifice, and I work on that. Not alone, but with the help of my life experiences, good and bad, with the power given to me by my God. The example He has given. So even though I am a work in progress, I'm intentional about being a good person.
