The Don S. McClure Show Live - The Anchor on your mind, how to remove it...

The words and actions that you listen to from others and your actions for decisions in your life based on poor advise or unfounded truths can and will become the anchor that will stop you from the merits of progress in your life.

Your actions for decisions in your life or field of endeavor based on half-truths can never satisfy your need or desire to reach your goal.

The definition of the word Anchor: A heavy object attached to a rope or chain and used to moor a vessel to the sea bottom, typically one having a metal shank with a ring at one end of the rope and a pair of curved and/or barbed flukes at the other.  There was a saying in medieval times for Knights in battle when a Knight lost:
" You have been weighed. You have been measured.

And you been found wanting".  You turned out failing the requirements.

You have here an example where “wanting” means “missing”, or “lacking”.

I once told a group of students, when you get half advice from others that appear to have made it in their life or field of endeavor and when afforded the opportunity to guide you but select not to tell the full story, you walk away with a half glass of water to quench your thirst.

There are two key components to success no matter who it is, no matter the color of their skin no matter the human origin male or female.  No matter the age of God-given ability, " Faith without works is dead."  "And work without relationship building" will only lead to lost time and effort. Not one person can make it in life or field of endeavor without these two profound ideas.
