What Evidence do Conservatives have to support their beliefs?

Had an interesting encounter over the weekend with a 28 year old college grad. She claimed a degree in Political Science and we talked for hours. She knew very little of politics, policies or history. It got me thinking... and I'll share my thoughts with you tonight. Might also share a piece from Chris Hedges and/or David Sirota as well... time permitting.
