National History Month for Women!,Rescheduled Sheryl Mayo

Denise Mayo was born in 1960 in Winona, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hamer. They moved to Gary, Indiana in 1962. She graduated from Roosevelt High School, attended Indiana University Northwest and Sawyer School of Business.

Denise is a preacher and motivational speaker who along with her husband of 27 years, Anthony Mayo, co-founded River of Life Ministries, located at 609 Madison Street in Gary, A major focus of her ministry is to encourage women to realize the dreams that God has placed in their hearts, despite life’s setbacks and struggles. She strives to lead by example. She is a poet and playwright.
