On this episode of Discover Janesville with Yuri Rashkin:

In 2011 Lexie Seaver was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, given 6 months to live and told she would not live to see her 26th birthday.  Recently, following an aggressive set of treatments and surgeries, Lexie was once again given just a  few months to live.  Lexie has just celebrated her 30th birthday.  Then, two weeks ago, her dad John Seaver was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.  Through all of this and now seizures, Lexie continues to write about her experience and communicate with many friends on Facebook who provide her with a constant stream of encouragement, which she appreciates.  Yuri spoke with Lexie as she was waiting to be with her dad during his chemo treatment.  Learn the inspiring story of this amazing woman, and how she continues her daily battle for survival.

This past Saturday, Janesville Community Radio was recording at ArtsFest@Janesville's Irish Fest.  Tune in as Yuri is joined by Esther Turner and then Bob Keith, host of JCR's Dadio's Lunch Bucket for a conversation about all things Irish, art and a round of "Where Would You Hang That Sign?"

Discover Janesville's final guest on this show was State Representative Amy Loudenbeck (R) who represents 31st State Assembly District.  Representative Loudenbeck shared her views on a wide range of issues including voter ID, redistricting, whether the state of Wisconsin should attempt to stop gay marriage recently reaffirmed by US Supreme Court, drug testing food stamp recepients, and much more.
