Civil Discourse is a local podcast hosted by former State Senator Peter Bear and Eric Brant.

Peter and Eric connect the dots from historical events to current issues in an effort to correctly predict the outcomes. We lay out current events, expand on the issues, and blend facts with our own take on the subject matter.

This show aims to easily and accurately break down complex political situations for working America.

Erik began political debates early - at nine years of age - which continued to grow and lean left while he was still in his teens. These days, politics consume his life. From the moment he wakes up and turns on MSNBC, to the moment before he falls asleep with a book by Paul Krugman on his night stand; he always has politics on his mind.  Eric states, "I enjoy learning about our country’s history in an effort to connect the dots of the past and present, to help predict the future. I have written online articles for several years, and I also do a podcast with a former State Senator. For I believe that it is one thing to educate yourself, and something far more respectable to interpret that knowledge in a way that you can get it out to the public in an effort to make the world a better place. We are all highways for information to travel to the every corner of the planet."
