Hon Gary Nkombo

Mazabuka Central UPND Member of Parliament Mr. Gary Nkombo is one of the most outspoken opposition MPs in Zambia. Recently he was rumored to be the favorite to replace Hakainde Hichilema for his party leadership. A teacher by profession, he serves on the Education, Science and Technology Committee in Parliament. He also runs his own business New Zambezi Security in Mazabuka. Mr. Nkombo who was first elected MP in 2006, holds a BA in Education. He will talk to us about the role of the opposition in Zambia and about the issues surrounding the voter registration efforts by the Electoral Commission of Zambia, as the nation prepares for the 2011 Presidential and General Election.
