Anita Endrezzes' most recent books include “Throwing fire at the Sun, water at the Moon” (U of Arizona press, 2000) and “at the helm of twilight” (Broken Moon Press, 1992), which won the Washington state Writer’s Award and a Bumbleshoot/Weyerhaeuser Award. She is half-Yaqui, a tribe native to the Southwest and Mexico. Currently living near Seattle, Washington her life story is as inspiring as her work.
