Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now. Over the last month I have heard so many concerns from parents about sending their child(ren) back to a classroom setting to end the school year. Parents are afraid for their childrens safety, children look at it differently: being with friends, socializing, etc. Parents had to uproot their lives to include homeschooling their children, or at least supervising them to get their schoolwork done and now, a month or so before school end, many schools are opening up to end the school year???

This last year has created an imbalance in many homes. Could that have been avoided or made easier on everyone? I am Denise Thomson, transformational health agent, educator, former nurse, fitness trainer, best selling author, and BTR host.

I came across an article that talks about Healthy Mind, Healthy Body and Healthy Relationships for students and how this particular One World International School handles it and prepares their students for a more balanced life. It supports what I am conveying to my clients for their daily lives; therefore, I am going to share it with you.

How We Nurture a Healthy Mind-Body Connection

Partnering with the Community to Promote Students' Well-Being

Why are not all schools teaching these values? They are not just related to schools, but to life.

Conclusion:

The school nurtures a Healthy Mind-Body Connection, teaches a healthy lifestyle, choices, sleep, nutrition, exercise... This is very close to the program I am offering my clients.
