Good morning to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, Speaker and Best Selling Author.

My Moto: The day I cannot learn anything new is the day I start digging 6 feet under.

Why? Where is my mental health? Where is my physical health?

How can I make sure my mind is positve, active, and serves me?

Can FEAR deter me? Why? Why not?

Some examples:

Scheduled call cancelled. What went through my head? What did I do? What was the outcome?

What I project and posture is what I am getting back in return. Being confident in what I am doing, posturing strength, positivity, leading by example, no judging, guiding, supporting, understanding, going the pace the client needs, etc. Asking questions, listening carefully, repeating what I have heard, opens up for honest conversation. 

You can't say the wrong thing to the right person, yet you can say the right thing to the wrong person.

Interviewed a new person today and loved the honestly and openness during our conversation. I learned so much, as did the other person. At the end, we agreed that we are a fit for one another and I get to journey with that new friend now. We get to work together, share, encourage, love on each other with what we do.... Life is amazing.

What does this have to do with learning something new daily? Keeping our mind busy with positive thoughts,

I learned to choose an inviting setting, stress free, private, conducive for honesty,...

Having an open, positive mindset, practicing our listening skills, hearing what the other person shares, asking questions to give them time to share as it's about them, not me....
