Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Nurse, Fitness Trainer, Educator, Speaker and Author.

Going on vacation is usually a lot of fun; however, what happens once you come back home?

Do you need to relax from your vacation, due to too many activities or jetlag?

Has work piled up you expected or did NOT expect during your absence?

In my case, I expected some work that needed to be caught up with, then realized that one unit in a duplex was totally distroyed and has to be renovated before it can be rented out again for the Holidays. So much unexpected work, more money to spend than planned, more projects than anticipated. How can it all be done and still keep up with daily life, chores, work, activities?

Hubby and I split up the responsibilities as he earns much more money than I do, at least at this time. So, I do the cleaning up, prep work, measuring for sheetrock, wood, cabinets, etc. etc. so when everything is ready for hubby, he can come do his work. I will then finish up with the interior design and decoration and work in between as smart and as hard as I can. My drive to help people getting healthy becomes stronger by the day, especially when I see what one can achieve with a healthy body, mind and finances.

We have set the month of October aside to get this major project done as well as all others that were already on the list. Planning. Doing it! Seal the deal!

If you need help getting a home fixed up and you cannot do it, have solid plans on hand and hire a contractor.

Blessing. We can do it all on our own! We don't even need YouTube for instructions, as we have the experience.
