I left this life

I fell asleep

And Christ was there

To meet me

And all around

Angelic sounds

With Saints who came

To greet me

The world of pain

Fell far away

And Joy and Bliss

Embraced me

No sorrows now

No fears or doubts

No demons here

To chase me

I looked around

And there they were

The family

Who loved me

And I could see

Their happiness

As Love poured forth

From Above me

And in the morning

I awoke

The sorrows

Just a shadow

For Christ had touched

My heart and soul

And Him

I'll always follow

Thank You, Lord
