This episode of Pneumatikos will explore the importance of returning to the biblical documents in order to overcome the Babylonian Captivity of the Church. The Babylonian Capitivity of the Old Testament lasted for seventy years, and it healed Yahweh's people of arrogance and unrestrained pride. Yahweh's people never stopped going to the temple, but they did stop real worship and devotion. Religious trappings will never do! Yahweh's eyes can penetrate the frail veil of false worship. The Dorian Grey facade of western religion is over. It's time to return to the Rock from which we were hewn.
Join Devin and Melissa Pellew weekly as we discuss issues related to apologetics, theology and biblical worldview. This week we will be hosting a friendly debate between two Christian scholars. During the first hour they will be discussing the classical view of God (i.e Divine Simplicity). The second hour, they will be discussing natural theology and the differences in apologetic methodologies (Classical vs. Presuppositional Apologetics).
Our two guests/debaters will be Dr. Brian Huffling, Director of the Undergraduate Program and Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Theology at Southern Evangelical Bible College & Seminary in Matthews, NC and Zach Hicks. Zach received a B.S. in Religion and Philosophy from Chowan University and received a Masters of Art in Philosophical Studies (focus in Christian Thought) from Liberty University and has received many honors.

Michael McGlinn is an inspirational speaker who can really sing. He is establishing himself as a noted singer and speaker throughout the country. He has a strong devotion to the Divine Mercy and St. Faustina.
I have been blessed to have participated with Michael on two different Marian Conferences. Michael presented his talk,Conquering fear through Jesus, reminding us all that in Christ, we are made conquerors over sin and death. We are all called to live the gospel in our lives.
Something else about Michael that should be noted, he was also a standout athlete at Notre Dame. He lettered four years playing football and was seriously looked at for Professional football with the National Football League, but he decided to live for Jesus through Music.

Far too regularly, African-American celebrities or high profile figures are being exposed for controversial, passive or highly inflammatory degrading remarks against their own race and community. The most recent examples involve include Raven-Symone, Stacey Dash and rapper Common. Sadly, the blatant attempts at "shock-value" attention are manifested, not dismissed, by these very figures of power that could make a statement against the ignorance, but instead used their positions, (either deliberately or indirectly) to promote the dominant society's destructive agenda for African-Americans to the masses.
