Many Christians are familiar with The Prayer of Jabez found in 1 Chronicles 4:10  ""He [Jabez] was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain!” And God granted him his request." (NLT)

My focus in this show is on Expanding Territory, aka - Your Market Share!

However, to make my point, I will refer to the combined stories found in Mark 4:35-41 and Mark 5:1-20.

In a business start-up, you show up brand new on the scene ready to carve out some business for yourself within the market.  Unless you are totally unique in what you do, chances are, there is already an existing supply for what you do - and you show up, ready to claim your piece of that market pie.  In other words, you become the competition, and those others are also your competitors.  That is the essence of Market Share.  The more market share you carver out for your business, the more you are 'expanding your territory'.

Whether you competitors give you a fight (price wars, etc), the process of expansion should be as strategic as planning for war. It will take a strategic plan, a target, execution of the plan, to obtain a result.

Here is a quick success tip from Jesus...

Leaders make more leaders, not just followers.  Listen in.
