Danny Kean is an accomplished singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and actor. Blind from birth, Danny began playing piano at age 2. By 15 he was playing New York City clubs and appearing on recording sessions. In 2003, Danny appeared at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival. In 2005, he won the Apollo amateur night four times in a row. His songs have been covered by Rock and Soul legends Gary "U S" Bonds and Maxine Brown. His album simply entitled Danny Kean, released in 2011 has garnered him critical acclaim. In September 2013, Danny became the youngest member to be inducted into the New York Blues Hall Of Fame. In April 2016 Danny became the face of Tourism Quebec “Blind Love” campaign. He released the “Here It Is” EP in June 2017 which again received critical praise and produced three charting singles. You Love Me peaked at number 48 on the USA smooth jazz charts, Soul Provider was nominated for song of the year in Soultracks readers poll and I Can’t Wait reached number 42 on the Carolina beach music charts in may of 2018..
