We all know the common signs of abuse. We know that any type of physical hitting, punching and kicking is abusive. Yet how can we predict that this person is abusive long before the behavior starts? how can we avoid becoming seriously involved with an abuser or even getting married to one? It is much easier to prevent abuse from happening than it is to escape a violent relationship.
