PROPHECY HEADLINES: Israel denies spying on Iran nuclear talks | U.S. to halt troop draw down in Afghanistan for now | Report: ISIS, al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram training together in Mauritania | U.S. deploys additional artillery battalion to South Korea | Former top U.S. officials agree with Israel: Say 1 year is not enough time to stop Iran from getting nuclear bomb

The Bible says in James 5:7: "Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain."

PROPHECY BOOTCAMP: Our topic for today is titled "Worthy is the Lamb!" (Part 1) from Dr. Ed Hindson's book "Revelation: Unlocking the Future".

Jesus Christ is again the central figure in Revelation chapter 5. He appears suddenly and dramatically at the center stage of heaven; He comes to claim His rightful inheritance from His Father's hand. He is the heir of the line of Jewish royalty -- the "Root of David.” He comes with divine authority to receive the title deed to the world and to enact the eternal purposes of God Almighty.

He explodes into the courtroom of heaven as the Lamb of God. Here the emphasis is upon His atonement for our sins. The symbolism is that of the Old Testament lamb slain for the sins of mankind. It is the same terminology John the Baptist used when he first saw the Messiah and proclaimed: "Behold, the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"
