"BEING A #CHRISTIAN DOESN'T REQUIRE YOU TO BE A #DOORMAT"

When Jesus needed to be compassionate with the masses and feed them, He did (John 6).   When He needed to rebuke the hypocritical Pharisees and church leaders, He did (Matt. 23:13 & 33).  When He even needed to rebuke His own disciplhes, He did so (Mtth. 16:23).  When He experienced sadness to the point of overcoming grief, the Bible says Jesus wept  (John 11:35). And, when He needed righteous anger to whip the moneychangers out of the temple, with a whip HE created, He even did that (John 2:15)!!  You see, Jesus, the Savior, and prime example of our Faith, understood that His sincere LOVE was not mooted or erased based on the fact that He wasn't always politically correct.  He knew that TRULY loving someone means you address the good as well as the bad; and the method is based on the severity of the situation (Jude 1:23).  In other words, He personfied today's teaching that "BEING A CHRISTIAN doesn't require you to be a #Doormat."   You don't have to let people walk all over you as evidence that you love God or them. The best evidence of being a Christian is fulfiling God's purpose!
