Join Host Kenneth Braswell with guest Chris Broussard of ESPN There is a tremendous lack of urgency for the ills of Black People. Every statistical social ill is through the roof and we are more interested in the next episode of "Basketball Wives" than we are about the violence taking place in our communities in almost every major urban center in this country. What is it going to take before the masses are concerned enough to care about Black children? What will it take for Black Men to understand that there situations are not by accident? What will it take for Black Women to understand that Black Men are not your enemy? The next episode of "The Black Bar" will explore these issues and more. Chris Broussard is an award-winning journalist who currently works as a senior writer for ESPN The Magazine and ESPN.com. Though he covers all sports, his specialty is basketball, particularly the NBA. Because of his knowledge of the game and its participants, he makes regular television appearances on ESPN, serving as an NBA analyst on shows such as “SportsCenter,’’ “Outside the Lines, ” “ESPN’s First Take,’’ “NBA Fastbreak,’’ “NBA Coast to Coast,’’ ESPN News and “Mike and Mike in the Morning.’’ He has also appeared on ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America, “The Charlie Rose Show,’’ MSNBC, “Fox and Friends,” NBA-TV, the Madison Square Garden Network, several local New York City television shows, and dozens of radio stations throughout the United States and Canada.
