The coping skill we teach at the start of the show is called the horse technique. It comes from one of our friends who has asthma and teaches you how to exhale. In the heart of the show, Clarissa talks about how we use our personal stories to cause ourselves stress and anxiety. Jennifer Duke and Clarissa will explain how to live based not on a story: how to start living in the moment without holding ourselves to some script about how and where we should be at this time in our lives. Stress relief and freedom come in when we begin to extricate ourselves from these false beliefs upon which our stories are based. We finish the story with a guided imagery with the harp in the background to help you relax. We hope you enjoy the show. AND, if you can only listen for a few minutes, please enjoy the short coping skill we offer at the very beginning of each and every show. Thanks for listening!
