Join us today as we welcome back to the CHWR show Robin Sax, were are so excited to talk about Growing Up Digital, Should Laws and Law Enforcement Grow Up & Use Technology To Better Prevent Sexual Abuse Or Is It A Lost Cause?
Also, we will talking about current projects Robin is doing right now and her past 2 best selling books, and the overall message of sexual exploitation and abuse against our children, growing up digital and in the offline world as well...
In this informative but uneven examination of sex crimes against children, former L.A. County Dep. DA Sax traces the prosecution of this social epidemic from identifying the perpetrator to securing a conviction. The statistics Sax presents are sobering: for instance, 67% of reported sexual assault victims are children.
Is there something that can be done to use tools that are available such as RFID, GPS, Video, Leg Monitors etc to track and make sure that sexual predators are not breaking rules or victimizing.
A great deal of money is spent on prosecuting the offenders but is there a way to spend more money on preventing more of these crimes? Are there effective ways to not take money away from prosecutors but more to help in the prevention.
