"Are we making our daughters grow up too fast?" Padded bras, hair weave, acrylic nails and make up for 8 year old girls are common place in this country. Are we distorting and making them see themselves as imperfect early? Even the retail industry offers padded bras and swimsuits for prepubescent girls. High heel shoes are very common for five and six year old children. Yet our sons are left to their cars trucks and ball games. What are we teaching our children and how do we keep them children until the time is right?
