Last week I presented two courses to the Kentucky Dental Hygienists' Association. The first was The Oral Environmentalist. As the first time presenting this course I was interested to know what the audience thought about a couple of new things I did for this course. One was the use of videos to highlight the concepts and terms I was using.
Today I talk mainly about one of the videos I used during this program, a TED talk on angiogenisis, production of blood vessels. It was very interesting and convincing that plant parts can really be health producing. Not only do plant flavenoids reduce bacteria's ability to create biofilms when exposed to the flavenoid, but internally and systemically flavenoids may be anti angiogenic. That property may make it a productive anti tumor "aide."
