When you speak with your kids, do they cooperate or are they sneaky and resentful? It can be really frustrating when all you want to do is have good, open communication with your child and, at the same time, they are ignoring you or talking back.

Become aware of what parenting styles promote sneaky, resentful children, who misbehave. You will learn to ask questions that promote empowerment for your child or teenager. While you learn the questions that will get you the right answer every time, you will also learn the parenting strategies to promote the correct answer, even though the children initially feel they have no way to answer it. When your child or teenager knows that you are on their side, you will begin to work together as a team.
