A group of German bishops recently approved the use for the morning after pill for rape victims as long as it is used to prevent pregnancy but not as an abortifacient.  On top of that, the president for the Pontifical Acadamy for Life, Bishop Ignacio Carrasco, has approved of this endorsement of the morning after pill.

Needless to say, this has caused some concern among Catholics.  The Church has always been adamant against the use of the morning after pill.  It seems like some folks are walking a fine line between morality and theology.

Joining us to comment on this complicated issue is Dr Jacqueline Harvey, a Catholic bioethicist.  Dr Harvey received her PhD from the University of North Texas in bioethics and health management and policy.  She started her own consulting service that analizes the effectiveness of social service programs.

Also joining us is Kira Davis, the woman who recently asked President Obama a pointed question concerning gun control.  A question the president wasn't able to answer very clearly.
